Pat Callahan

Pat Callahan is the founder and chief executive officer of Urban Renaissance Group, LLC, and is also the CEO of Touchstone. Pat founded URG in 2006, which now oversees approximately 10 million square feet of office and retail assets, and has spearheaded multiple acquisitions and redevelopments. In 2014, URG completed the acquisition of Touchstone, including investments in seven of Touchstone’s portfolio assets. In January of 2016, URG acquired the operating platform of Langley Investment Properties, which includes the oversight of 1.4 million square feet of office space. This acquisition has increased URG’s Portland presence to 2.1 million square feet.

URG has earned three major awards from the Washington State chapter of NAIOP, including 2009 Renovation of the Year for the Joshua Green Building, 2011 Deal of the Year for the acquisition of 7th and Madison (with a 200,000-square-foot lease for the entire building by the Polyclinic), and Deal of the Year in 2012 for the acquisition of 1600 Seventh (including a 300,000-square-foot lease to Nordstrom).

Touchstone has also been recognized by the Washington State chapter of NAIOP as the 2015 Hospitality Development of the Year (Hilton Garden Inn at Boren and Howell), 2015 Deal of the Year for the Touchstone Recapitalization with Urban Renaissance Group, and Developer of the Year in 2015.

A 15-year veteran of Equity Office, Pat served as a Senior Vice President from 2000–2006, overseeing a region that included Seattle and Bellevue, Portland, OR, and Denver, CO. He was accountable for a business unit of 18 million square feet, 114 buildings, more than 300 employees and over $450 million in annual revenue.
